From irrigation systems to stock water and domestic supply sources, successful agriculture requires an adequate and reliable water supply. These demands require a water system that will deliver the amount of water that each crop or animal requires when and where it is needed. Wastewater disposal at agricultural facilities such as confined animal feeding operations requires permitting and reporting to comply with state and federal rules and regulations.
LA has worked closely with individuals and businesses to identify and develop reliable water supplies and improvements for water delivery infrastructure to meet the client’s current and future needs. Our staff has successfully completed agribusiness and irrigation water projects for farmers, ranchers, irrigation districts and industrial clients in the western United States. We provide expertise in water rights planning, water source development and distribution, development of rehabilitation plans for water delivery structures, water monitoring and ground water management. The staff has worked closely with agribusiness clients to address siting restrictions, water rights and environmental compliance issues. LA is very familiar with state and federal rules and regulations related to water and environmental permitting.
