Mr. Christopher D. Lidstone, PG: President
Mr. Lidstone is the President of Lidstone and Associates, Inc. and is a registered professional geologist and a member of the American Institute of Professional Geologists. He has a Bachelors Degree in Geology from Cornell University and a Masters Degree in Fluvial Geomorphology from Colorado State University. He has 30 years of experience in water resources and geologic investigations and has completed studies in over 30 states, Canada, Mexico, and Indonesia. He has conducted surface water and geomorphology studies on major river systems and small drainages in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, Nebraska, Missouri, Mississippi, Indiana, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, California, Oregon and Washington State. He has completed river restoration, hydraulics and sediment transport studies on both large and small river systems. His ground water and geologic investigations have included geologic provinces and aquifer targets throughout North America. As principal-in-charge, he has directed water supply, transmission, storage, aquifer storage and recovery, water treatment and water distribution studies for state and federal clients, municipal and community water systems and industrial users in Wyoming, Colorado, and Oregon. Since 1977, Mr. Lidstone has been extensively involved in the mining industry including exploration, development and environmental permitting for coal, uranium, gold, copper, bentonite, oil shale, and aggregate mining. As a third party independent he has been responsible for the due diligence evaluation of mineable reserves, environmental assets and liabilities for publically traded companies and small mining companies. His environmental work has included the assessment of the mobilization of mine wastes, nutrient loading and acid mine drainage problems associated with industrial and community development. In summary, Mr. Lidstone is well versed in all aspects of water resources and geologic investigations and is particularly familiar with state, federal and international environmental codes, rules and regulations.
